The Semester Reading List--Day 9

Hey guys! It's day 9! And today I thought I'd share with you my required reading list for the new class I'm teaching this semester: Young Adult Literature.

I'm so excited about this class. Clearly, I'm also very excited about the reading list. So if you were to say take my class...here's what your textbook shopping would look like.

1. Looking For Alaska, John Green

2. This Lullaby, Sarah Dessen

3. Divergent, Veronica Roth

4. Before I Fall, Lauren Oliver

5. Daughter of Smoke and Bone, Laini Taylor

6. The Raven Boys, Maggie Stiefvater

7. Code Name Verity, Elizabeth Wein

Of course...you could also just read along. I highly recommend each of those books for very different reasons.


And now...back to writing!

  1. Niiiiice choices. Before I Fall is so powerful, and YAY! Divergent. Code Name Verity is next up on my TBR pile, so I'll probably be reading along with your class!
